ADDIS ABABA - JINKA
Upon your arrival at Jinka airport, you'll find our waiting vehicle ready to transport you to KeyAfar. If your arrival is on a Thursday, you'll have the unique opportunity to visit the vibrant and colorful markets of the Benna, Hammer, Tsemay, and Erbore people, an enriching cultural experience. From there, your journey will take you to Turmi, where you'll discover the charming and colorful Dimeka village of the Hammer people. If you're fortunate, you may witness the mesmerizing Evangadi dance, a creation of Hammer girls and boys, performed under the moonlight. Turmi is also renowned for its remarkable bull jumping ceremony, symbolizing the transition from childhood to adulthood for Hammer boys. JINKA - KARO - JINKA
JINKA - KARO - JINKA
Following breakfast, your journey continues to Karo (or Kara), an ethnic group in Ethiopia renowned for their distinctive body painting practices. The Karo tribe, consisting of approximately 1,000 to 1,200 individuals, is one of the smallest ethnic groups in the region. They share close cultural ties with their neighbors, the Hamer and Banna, as evidenced by an 81% lexical similarity. The Karo people inhabit the eastern banks of the Omo River in southern Ethiopia, sustaining their livelihood through agriculture and the annual flooding of the river. For five centuries, they have steadfastly preserved their cultural traditions, including traditional dances and the unique practice of adorning their bodies with ash and fat. Following a captivating performance, a break for lunch in Turmi awaits, after which your journey proceeds to Omorate. To cross the Omo River, you'll have the option of a traditional canoe or, more recently, using a bridge built for tour vehicles. In Omorate, you'll have the opportunity to visit another Omo tribe, the Dasanech, a more populous group in the Omo Valley with around 30,000 members. Upon completing your explorations, you'll journey to Jinka, where you'll spend the night at the Jinka Resort, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay.

DAY 3:
JINKA - MANGO PARK - JINKA - FLY TO ADDIS
JINKA - MANGO PARK - JINKA - FLY TO ADDIS
In the early morning, embark on a journey to Mago National Park to encounter the Mursi people.
